Who runs the site

Moja košarica (mojakosarica.si) is an independent overview of publicly listed prices in Slovenian shops. For questions about privacy or the site, write to info@mojakosarica.si.

Without an account

Your basket, chosen cards, starred products, saved lists, budget, coupons, recent searches and your choice of language and text size are kept in your browser only. They are not sent to the server. You remove them by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Photos of receipts and coupons stay in the browser of the device they were added on.

With an account

An account is optional. If you create one, we keep:

• the e-mail address you sign in with;
• your password in a hashed form from which it cannot be read;
• your cards, starred products, lists, budget, coupons (without photos) and basket, so that they are the same on all your devices.

We use this only to sign you in and to keep your devices in step. The legal basis is providing the service you ask for when you create an account (Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation). We do not use your e-mail address for advertising and do not pass it to anyone else.

We keep the data for as long as the account exists. Delete account, in the Profile, removes the account and everything in it at once and for good.

If you write to us

A message you send to info@mojakosarica.si, and your e-mail address, are used only to answer you. We keep them for as long as it takes to settle your question.

Location and camera

Your location is used only if you choose Use my location. It is rounded to about 100 metres, used to work out the nearest branches, and not kept.

The camera is used only to read a barcode. The picture does not leave your device; only the number of the code is sent to the server.

You can take back the permission for location or camera at any time in your browser's settings.

Cookies and counting visits

The site uses no cookies for tracking or advertising and does not follow what an individual visitor does. To work, it uses only the browser storage described above. That storage is needed for what you ask of the site (basket, lists, signing in), so there is no cookie notice for it.

Who else is involved

• Cloudflare hosts the site and holds the price database. Like any web server it sees the IP address and the kind of browser on each visit. It needs these technical records to run the site safely, which is our legitimate interest, and keeps them for a short time.
• Supabase holds the accounts and what is in them. Account data is stored in Europe.
• Resend sends the two messages for confirming an e-mail address and for a new password, and sees your e-mail address in doing so. It sends them from Europe.
• Product and flyer pictures are loaded straight from the retailers' sites, the map from OpenStreetMap's servers, and the libraries for the map and for reading barcodes from the public networks unpkg and jsDelivr. They see your IP address as they would on a visit to their own sites.

Cloudflare, Supabase and Resend are companies based in the United States; they process data under the agreements European law requires for such transfers.

Your rights

At any time you may ask to see your data, to have it corrected, deleted, restricted or handed over, and object to its processing. Write to info@mojakosarica.si; we answer within one month at the latest. If you believe we handle your data wrongly, you may complain to the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (www.ip-rs.si).

We make no automated decisions about you and build no profiles from your data.

About the prices

Prices and offers are read from the retailers' public pages and are for information; the price on the shelf or at the till is the one that counts. The site is not connected with the retailers. Their names and logos belong to them.

For retailers and rights holders

We show prices and offers that retailers publish themselves, always with the retailer's name and a link to its site. Product pictures are loaded from the retailer's own servers.

If you represent a retailer or a rights holder and want a piece of data, a picture, a flyer or a logo corrected or removed, write to info@mojakosarica.si. We see to it as soon as we can. We would also welcome an official source of prices, if you have one, to use in place of reading the web pages.
